Drenched in warm autumnal sunshine, the school was filled with children and families enjoying the grounds and hunting for pumpkins. The sounds of children excitedly following clues and playing with their friends filled the air, with over one hundred bags of treats awarded to savvy participants at the end of the trail.

With the Forest School proving such a popular recent addition to our school, the activity hosted by our forest school leader Camilla Bowker (assisted by Anna Bourne, Forest School Leader at Horsell Village School) was busy throughout the afternoon. Every child took huge delight channelling their creative side and connecting with nature by making models from clay, acorns and conkers.
Our second annual Pumpkin Trail attracted huge crowds which led to very generous donations, raffle tickets and drink sales profits of over £200; a great result for FoSA’s fundraising efforts for the school! Thank you to everyone who supported the event which couldn't have happened without volunteer, parent and community collaboration.
We would like to congratulate the winners of our raffle:
The Brazier Family
Winners of a pumpkin generously donated by Poppies and Peonies Florist, Horsell
The McDonald Family
Winners of a carving pumpkin voucher generously donated by Boz's Fruit & Veg, Horsell
If you would like to get involved with future events, we would love to hear from you. Please contact FoSA or get in touch with your class rep.
